Brand identity design and applications for the Swiss Red Cross
Cooperating with out partners from Zurich, we have created a brand identity for the Swiss Red Cross campaign “What kind of helper are you?”.
The idea being that good will individuals apply for Swiss Red Cross’s testing that will help determine how they can help others most efficiently. Every person can be a super hero and in this manner be classified as: administrator, enforcer, social or a “giver”.
The designed solution is as such that within the word “heroes”, we placed a thunderbolt sign within a shield, associating it to superheroes as a notion. The visual language of the web and mobile phone applications generates a feel of closeness, being so because it was done in a style resembling handwriting thus sending the message that there is an actual person behind the test and that the user interacts with a living being, not a machine.
